Every project starts with a conversation.

We talk about references, intention, context, and constraints - whether that’s an artist shaping a sound, a brief for screen or audio, or something still taking form.

From there, I develop ideas and share work early, so we can respond, refine, and shape the music together. The process stays flexible and collaborative, with space to follow what feels right for the project.

Once the direction is clear, I take the music through to completion — whether that’s a finished record, a piece of commissioned music, or audio ready for release or picture.

How We Work

At its core, my job is simple:

To help bring your musical vision to life - meeting you wherever you’re at in the process, and working collaboratively until the music feels right for the project it belongs to.

Most projects start in one of these ways, whether you’re an artist working toward a release, or bringing music to life for a specific project.

  • If you already have something to work from - a demo, song idea, rough recording, reference, or edit - that becomes the starting point.

I develop it into a more complete version through production, recording, arrangement, and instrumentation, building out the sound in a way that supports the original idea.

From there, we refine the direction through feedback and revisions until the music feels finished and intentional.

  • Sometimes the starting point is a recording, session, or piece of audio that needs shaping.

In these cases, I focus on arrangement, performance, and production - editing, adding or replacing parts, and refining the structure so everything works together cohesively.

This approach suits projects headed toward release, picture, or audio/music work.

  • If you’re starting without any existing material, we begin with conversation and reference.

From there, I write and produce music from the ground up - recording instruments, building arrangements, and shaping the sound as it develops.

You’ll hear ideas early, we shape the direction together, and I take the music through to completion once the path is clear.
